About Coach Jo

Jordan Baum, also known as "Coach Jo", is a highly accomplished strength and conditioning coach whose career has spanned over a decade. With a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology Fitness Development from SUNY Cortland and a Master's degree in Health and Wellness Coaching from Creighton University, Jordan has honed her skills working at renowned institutions such as SUNY Purchase, Concordia College, and West Point with the Army.

Jordan has also coached professional athletes and interned at Mike Boyle Strength and Conditioning. Her extensive knowledge and experience have earned her a reputation as one of the top strength coaches in the industry.

Jordan's passion lies in helping individuals achieve their fitness goals, and she has developed customized programs for clients of all levels. As the head coach of the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) strength and conditioning program, Jordan provides leadership and management for the institute's 23 intercollegiate teams. Her expertise in creating sport and gender-specific programs and focusing on injury prevention has proven to be instrumental in the success of the athletes under her guidance.

Jordan Baum's unwavering dedication to the field of strength and conditioning has earned her multiple certifications, including the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), the National Sports Performance Association USA Weightlifting coach, and the functional range conditioning coach, to name a few.

 

With her extensive experience, Jordan is a highly sought-after coach who has helped countless individuals achieve their fitness goals.
